SWEET AND SOUR PEPPER SAUCE
From a sweet and colorful seasonal vegetable, perfect for creating many summer recipes, comes the sweet and sour pepper sauce , perfect for accompanying many different dishes .
How to best enjoy it? The sweet and sour pepper sauce is very versatile and can be the protagonist in preparing excellent crostini to serve for an aperitif or it can be served as an accompaniment to enhance many different dishes.
It is excellent, for example, together with fresh soft cheeses or as an accompaniment to goat's milk and other cheeses prepared with goat's milk: the natural sweetness of the pepper sauce creates a surprising contrast with these dairy products.
The combination between pepper sauce and red meat is perfect: whether it is boiled, roasted or grilled, the sweet and sour sauce will certainly give that extra touch to the meat, as long as it has no other condiments, except at most a pinch of salt. It is also excellent with game or roast chicken .
Furthermore, pepper sauce can be used to prepare excellent gourmet sandwiches together with sausage or hamburgers .
Perhaps a more risky combination, but worth trying, is the one with fish: a carpaccio of swordfish, but also of mackerel, or prepared in the oven, will benefit from the combination with the pepper sauce, to be served cold in a small bowl part for each diner.
