QUOTA 1910 WHITE GRAPPA OF NERELLO MASCALESE

At the end of the distillation processes, after a period of "rest", our white grappa from Nerello Mascalese is decanted into steel or glass containers.

In this way it does not undergo any refinement in wood, which is why it only brings with it aromas deriving from the grape variety used initially.

It is colorless and transparent, with a delicate aroma of pomace , fruity and with a dry taste.
This happens because a white grappa is not "altered" by the passage in wood.

Thanks to the black grape pomace and their particular alcoholic fermentation , the resulting distillate is rich in character and personality.

We distil our grappa with expertise, as Nonna Grazia taught us. Suggested at the end of a meal, alone, at a temperature of around 16°/18°.

Our grappa certainly deserves a moment dedicated just to it to be appreciated in its fullness.

An excellent digestive to finish your dinners with friends, but also an opportunity to taste it as it is different from other spirits because we are talking about an exclusively Sicilian product and, as such, it follows the rules of our cuisine and our habits and customs .

"The distillate of courage" is how Nonna Grazia called her grappa when she gave it to neighbors to warm up from the cold winter.

Our grappa is not drunk, it is tasted, because it is obtained from the most widespread vine in the Etna area: Nerello Mascalese , the undisputed king of the mountain.
